I'm going to be honest with you. I do not know how to write a sales letter. Copywriting is not my forte.

I do however, know how to optimize websites and get traffic to those websites.

I've been doing exactly that for the past 8 years. As a matter of fact, I've been working online since 1996 and have done work for companies such as Working Mother Magazine and NAFE (The National Association of Female Executives) just to name two.

And here's what I do know without a doubt:

  • Without website traffic, you won't make any money.
  • To get  website traffic you need to be found on the first page within the search engines.
  • To get found on the first page within the search engines, you need to use Search Engine Optimization .

I could go on and on with mistakes that I see website owners do every single day.

But I didn't used to be able to answer these questions at the drop of a hat like I can now.

When I first started optimizing websites I STUNK!

I would try one strategy...and fall on my face.

I'd try another one...and it would work for awhile. At first I'd be elated, want to shout it to the world and even get butterflies in my stomach. (Corny I know, but true.)

Then I'd go back the next day and search. Hmmmm....it's not there on the first page anymore. I'd check the second page, and the third...all the while knowing full well that past page three didn't even matter. I might as well have had a website that didn't exist at all.

My heart would sink and I'd wonder "Where the hell did it go? It was just here yesterday!" And I'd wallow in self-pity.

But not for long.

I still remember my Dad saying to me when I was younger to just "Suck it up!". It didn't matter what I was doing, playing sports, getting a bad grade, falling off my bike. I always heard "Suck it up!".

And those words to this day still stick in my head.

So I'd "suck it up", lift up my bootstraps and try and figure out what I did wrong, or at least what I didn't do right.

And I kept working at it until finally something started to click...and clicked along it did until it finally started to work!

I started to see a pattern; but a pattern so obvious that it was easily undetected.

You see, I, like so many others when I began optimizing my sites had fallen prey to "quick, easy, and instant." Instead of just following time-trusted techniques and methods, I would snap up every book I could get my hands on about those "quick and easy" methods...only to quickly realize that while some of the techniques did work temporarily , they weren't long lasting.

I wanted long-lasting results! I wanted staying-power! 

And so I wrote notes, kept logs, and tried new strategies as they came along. And sure enough it became my personal SEO Plan.

As the years have gone by, I've adapted, implemented new technologies, used video, audio and social networks. And what is contained on this page, is the culmination of all of those efforts.

And what I've noticed over the past couple of years especially is that SEO is changing...rapidly.  So rapidly in fact that...

If you're not on top of your game, you're toast.  Kaput.  Gone.

Every single day it gets harder and harder to get top positions in a search engine, especially the ones that matter.

Competition is fierce and getting fiercer by the day. 

Did you know, that according to Google, the number of web pages grows by several BILLION  pages a day?

And even Google themselves were astonished when recently their system that processes links found over 1,000,000,000,000 (that's 1 TRILLION folks), unique URLs on the web at the same time!

That's a lot of websites (and a hell of a lot of competition).

SEO as you've known it is changing. You've already seen some of the changes take place;

  • Social networking and bookmarking are now playing a very large role in our website traffic;
  • Videos are no longer just a "fad"; they're now used by all kinds of online marketer's as a way to get their message across quicker;
  • Blogs are everywhere.  

But there are some very important things changing in the world of SEO that you might not see right now...but that are very important to understand...

  • One of these changes is Video. Not just the fact that you can put a video on YouTube or Revver; but that those videos are now contained within the organic search results. And there are certain criteria that seem to get a video placed there over another. I cover this in the course.
  • Google's Universal search is set to become a major player in the ORGANIC search results and there's no time like the present than to be prepared for this change.
  • Google is testing new technology that indexes the AUDIO contained within a Video. This is yet another new SEO technique that you can take advantage of and I'll tell you how.
